In my Typography class, I was tasked with creating 3 book covers. I was inspired by Jane Austen, having taken a class based entirely around her novels, and wanted to make covers that I felt spoke to her iconic style. When I found these gorgeous floral images, I immediately knew that I should find a way to integrate them.
I paired these images with simple textures, and typography that I thought enhanced the classical visual language I had started to create. I think these book covers would look gorgeous on a coffee table!
